Rodeo - Rigid Body Dynamics
for the EIAS
Welcome to Rodeo, a new plugin for the Electric Image Animation System. It
introduces a powerful rigid body dynamics engine to
the EIAS Animator. It calculates the acceleration of
objects based on the forces that act on the objects
mass. If an object collides with another object the
force of the collision will change the kinetic energy
of that object and it will travel into a different
direction based on Newton's laws. Fortunately you only
need to know a small fraction of the underlying
physics to use Rodeo in a meaningful way. Rodeo is
easy to understand and fun to use.
You can see what our beta testers did with Rodeo here. We will be glad to include your
Rodeo animation in our gallery. Please contact ramjac
Software, if you have a nice animation to show off.
Installation
The Rodeo plugin will be installed with the EI7 installer
inside your EI sockets folder within you application
folder. If you install Rodeo manually please read here where to install all related
files.
