There are a couple of error messages that you can encounter while you are using OBJ2FACT. Each is explained in some detail below. No matching .mtl fileOBJ2FACT cannot find a matching .mtl file for this OBJ -> refer to the "Use .mtl File" option for further explanations. No "usemtl" found in OBJThis error comes up when you click "create .mtl" and the OBJ does not contain the necessary information. OBJ2FACT cannot create an .mtl from this OBJ. You can add "usemtl" entries manualy to the OBJ with a text editor. Refer to "How to add usemtl to an OBJ file" for further explanations. No valid OBJ fileSomething is wrong with your obj file. OBJ2FACT can not convert this file to a FACT. No valid .mtl fileThe .mtl file has the correct naming, but is not readable by OBJ2FACT. It can not be used for the conversion. Unknown keyword in .mtlOBJ2FACT has detected an unknown word in the .mtl file that can not be translated to any material property of the converted FACT file. You can continue the conversion with no problem. This error is a notification that you have an unusually formatted .mtl file.
