Rodeo distinguishes between passive and active objects. A passive object will not be animated by Rodeo but used for the calculation of collisions. In our case it is the table that acts as a passive object. We want the teapot to be the active object in our animation and Rodeo to calculate its motion. To tell Rodeo that the teapot is an active object we need to check the triangle to the right of the visibility checkbox to make it animatable - the same as we would do in the project window of Animator.

In this case Rodeo will show and Error:

error

In order to enable Rodeo to write animation data to the animation channels of the objects in the project window of Animator you also need to enable animation for the object in Animator by checking its green triangle.

gren_triangle

This is all you have to do. Now Rodeo is configured properly for your first simulation.
