Message to our Users
ramjac has been in negotiation with the EITG about a solution for about the last half year. The negotiations finally have failed and we see no basis for any further business relation to the Electric Image Technology Group in any form.
Our products Xpressionist and Rodeo will no longer be available from the EITG. However, users of the EIAS V7 or any other former Version of the EIAS that contained Xpressionist and Rodeo have a legal license and can use their licensed software further, also with EIAS V8 as a new host. However, such licenses will not be supported anymore by ramjac in any way.
Purchasers of a new license of the EIAS starting with EIAS V8 do not have purchased a valid license of any of our products and must obtain a license from ramjac Software.
Since we did not belive that all this was really necessary and we would find any other solution than the current we do not have any alternative distribution system or any new licensing scheme we could offer to our users in this date. However, we will verify all our options very carefully and announce anything new regarding our products and their availability in an appropriate time frame.
If you have any inquiry about our products please send us an email.
Thank you for your understanding.

ramjac discontinues EIAS support
Due to severe dissensions between the EI Technology Group and ramjac Software regarding their business relationship which could not be solved ramjac Software has decided to discontinue the development of Xpressionist and Rodeo for the Electric Image Animation System. "This is a really hard and sad dicision for ramjac, since we are devoted to the EIAS since about 15 years when we first used version 1.5.1. We gave all our power and ideas and good will to keep the EIAS alive when it had hard times by bundeling our tools with it. However, the recent dissensions with the current EITG management could not be solved by us. We see no other way than to cancel our relation." Says Jens C. Möller, founder of ramjac. "Due to licensing, protection and funding issues we also see no way of supporting Xpressionist and Rodeo any longer. This is a hard but necessary step for ramjac. We are especially sad since we already have the necessary technology for a complete node based architecture for Animator which we have been working on over the last years and which we hoped to be able to include into the Animator V9. This work will now be obsolete."
Xpressionist and Rodeo will no longer be a part of the EIAS. The upcomming Version 8 of the EIAS will not contain any ramjac product.

ramjac Software launches Forum
ramjac Software is proud to announce the immediate availability of a web forum about every aspect of ramjac Software. This forum will help to streamline the communication with our customers all over the world and increase the speed and quality of our software developments.
Jens C. Möller, director of JCM Animation and leading Administrator of ramjac Software says: "I get 150 eMails a day. Many of them are spam, some of them are from clients or subcontractors, some are even from friends and some of them are about O2F or Xpressionist - either from users, or from the developers, sometimes feature requests, sometimes bug reports. I always need to sort out, collect, document, forward, reply to all of these messages. I am very glad that we have a web board now, that will help me to get rid of this (smiles). I think this is a huge benefit for all people - us and our customers - and will help everybody to get the most out of ramjac Software."
The ramjac Software Forum uses MyBB. MyBB is a powerful, efficient and free forum package developed in PHP and MySQL.
